Taking it to Heart

Key verses for this lesson are Revelation 1;3, Luke 2:19, and Exodus 7:22-23.

We let so much in and we take so much to heart. What does this mean? We hear or see something and we let it sink in and just sit there as we allow it permeate our thoughts over the next few days. We all know what this means all to well. Sometimes we take hurts and pains to heart. Often, offences are taken to heart. We take financial matters to heart, and the list goes on and on. We let these things get to us, and they sit on the throne of our hearts captivating our thoughts and affecting our actions, and all in all, they form us. This lesson is to encourage us to dig into the Word of God and let it sink in and set in our hearts that it may be the power that forms us and impacts us.
